“Body freedom” is a ritual; as you may know, it’s challenging for some artists to reach that creative zenith—the moment of truth in creation. I understand the necessity of preparation. Large-scale drawings demand a warm-up, a synchronization with music, a dance. Only through this preparation can I overcome the fear of that initial brushstroke. Once begun, I enter a frenzied state akin to an uncontrollable drug, consumed by the process until its completion. In fact, upon finishing, I often find myself yearning for a larger space and more paper to continue the artistic frenzy. Each stroke becomes an expression of liberation, a testament to the boundless potential of the human body and mind in the act of creation. This ritual is not just about art; it’s about transcending limitations and embracing the freedom of expression in its purest form.
